There is no one “right” way to honor a loved one with sympathy flowers; although there are some traditions, we also help you to express your sentiments in a variety of styles and colors that best reflect the life you are celebrating.

Funeral and sympathy flowers take several forms, from those which adorn the casket, to floral arrangements placed at the gravesite. It is traditionally the responsibility of the immediate family to choose the funeral flowers, which include casket sprays and pillows or garlands to surround an urn. You may choose to go with classic white sympathy florals, or with a more personalized expression – whether to honor a veteran, express true love or reflect on the deceased’s favorite flower. Although we offer a wide variety of beautiful pieces, our designers are also ready to create a custom piece if that is what is desired.

It is appropriate for friends to send floral displays to either the memorial service, the gravesite or to the home of the family. When sending to a church or funeral home, the flowers may be more formal, such as easel sprays ,wreaths or crosses; while a home delivery may be a bouquet that perfectly expresses love and support. Another popular choice is to send a green or flowering plant, such as a peace lily, which is a long-lasting tribute to someone who was so important to both of you.
