Getting ready for holiday entertaining is a pleasant experience when you have creative ideas for your home and table. This season, the design geniuses at Julia’s Florist have plenty of tips to share with you to help you create a fabulous tablescape that you and your guests will enjoy all season long.
A great way to dress up your formal table for fall is to simply add several mini pumpkins to your traditional design. For a more elegant presentation, use blanched, or white, pumpkins.
Utilize the natural beauty of the season by including stalks of wheat, dried maize, or hypericum berries along your table runner as accents to your floral centerpiece- or use these to design your own creative centerpiece!
Play with metallics. Use cutlery and candlesticks in different finishes for a mismatched but polished look. Read More about Autumn At The Center Of Your Table »

This month we celebrate bosses everywhere on October 16th with Bosses Day. This National observance began in 1928 when Patricia Bays Haroski, a secretary for State Farm Insurance in Cleveland, realized her boss’s hard work often went unnoticed. Since her boss also happened to be her father, she chose his birthday as the date for acknowledging all bosses everywhere for their tireless efforts to support and motivate their employees. The official date was enacted by Ohio’s governor four years later. At Julia’s Florist, we have created a wide variety of plants, flowers and gift baskets that will make excellent gifts for your boss this year. Read More about Give Your Boss A Boss Gift »

This month is Hispanic Heritage Month, a time when we pay tribute to the many generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced our nation and society. We join with the many Latin American countries that celebrate their Independence Days between September 15 and October 15, like Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, Chile and Belize, and honor their contributions to our culture. Julia’s Florist is commemorating this significant celebration by creating designs that feature flowers that hail from Hispanic America.
