Get Creative This February

February 14th is Valentine’s Day. But that’s not the end of this month’s romantic celebrating. The month is designated as Creative Romance Month, and the creative design team here at Julia’s Florist is thrilled to be able to help our customers pour on the love. We’re also thrilled to be able to infuse our floral designs with a taste of spring – regardless of how Mother Nature is feeling outside.

We’ve chosen to put the spotlight on “Pretty in Pink” for this blog. As its name suggests, this elegant design in a low cylindrical glass vase is all about showcasing pink flowers, and we believe that that’s a fitting color for both early spring – and romance. We tried to create a blanket of different shades of pink that are just as suitable for a desk as they are for a coffee table, a side accent or bedside table – or just about anywhere else. We use hot pink-colored roses, pink and white ranunculus, lilies, and bouvardia in an almost reddish pink – the perfect contrast to the rest of the pink flowers. We believe that combination of flowers you’d likely see in an old-fashioned cutting garden and less familiar varieties add to the creativity of this bouquet.

Don’t stop celebrating romance after Valentine’s day. We want to encourage you to take advantage of this month’s designation as Creative Romance Month. Julia’s Florist takes pride in consistently having flowers for every day and every occasion. Whether you’re captivated by our “Pretty in Pink” design or would like to send the love of your life something different, you can always count on our floral design team to come up with an arrangement that will surprise, wow and delight the recipient to whom you give it.
