Show Them You Care This Administrative Professionals Week

social (1)In 1952 the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Charles Sawyer, declared an official National Secretaries Week. Although the name of the holiday has changed to Administrative Professionals Week and the dates have changed– the holiday is now the last full week in April– the idea behind it remains the same. This year, from April 19 through the 25, managers and executives are expected to pause and say, “thank you” to all those who help keep organizations moving from behind the scenes. The names of the support staff might not be on the letterhead, but without their work, it would be nearly impossible to any company to reach their goals.

At Julia’s, we believe that flowers might be the perfect way to let administrative assistants know how much their work is appreciated. Some beautiful plants or blooms can help to make the entire office space feel a bit more cheery and welcoming, making it a great place to work and succeed.

Those who have begun their search for the perfect gift to present their offices should consider some of the flowers we have suggested below. These are some of our favorite arrangements for busy professionals who come to us looking for help with the flower selection process.

Zen Gerbera

This plant is perfect for offering employees a sense of peace and tranquility, even when racing to meet a deadline. The boldness of the gerbera, which many people would not think to pair with a zen styled box, helps to encourage people to think outside of the box.

Springtime Splendor

With the holiday falling at the end of April, nothing is more appropriate than bright spring flowers that bring some of the joy of the outdoors inside. This arrangement uses yellow gerbera daisies and yellow tulips to create a visually stunning and uplifting gift that will look beautiful in an office.

Sensational Spring

This gift option uses a variety of spring colors, including reds, pinks, and purples, to create a lovely display that will fit well in a professional setting. Coming in to work each morning to this arrangement will get any recipient’s morning off to a great start.

Administrative Professionals Week is the perfect time to pause and remember the valuable contributions of these professionals to the success of organizations. At Julia’s, we love helping executives find the perfect way to say ‘thanks’. Consider one of our above gift ideas and find the right present today.
